A Project Guide to UX Design

Over the winter I had the privilege to help out on a project with Russ Unger (DFCB) and Carolyn Chandler (Manifest Digital) with their book:

Happy to help out and work with some great people in the field, Christine Mortensen and I divided duties to provide visual support and prep art and images for the book. I was honored to prep files from Andrew Hinton, Will Evans, Todd Zaki Warfel, Russ Unger, James Melzer, Mark Brooks as well as create an identity for Pseudo Company - the fictional example used in the book.

As a designer and creative director, the information contained in this book - and working with people in this field - gives me a broader understanding, and ultimately,  a huge appreciation for the practitioners of this field and how much better the result is.

Russ went beyond, and completely unnecessary, in his acknowledgment as I gained much more from this experience then he did. Russ was kind enough to write this:

“Brad Simpson took all the graphics I threw at and turned them into beautiful, print-ready images, often while juggling his own life with two teenage sons and a busy work schedule. It would have been easy for Brad to walk away at any time, but he’s a true friend who had interest in the project and wanted to support me.”

The honor is all mine Russ.
