A Little Help for Greater Good
Awhile back I had the opportunity to participate on a small level by providing creative for a pet project of some of the finest practitioners in the IA/UX field. This group got together to make a difference for a micro-loan initiative called Lend4Heatlh.
Gabby Hon provided the strategy, creative brief and personas for Russ Unger, Todd Zaki Warfel, Will Evans and Fred Beecher to solve the design challenges for Lend4Health's needs.
I was very fortunate to give Russ a hand with the creative execution of his hard, thoughtful solutions. You can read the full back story by Russ. View the great time-lapse video of his efforts.
I would especially like to thank Suzanna for her brilliance and constant source of inspiration.

Austin Riding Out a Problem
Austin’s friend Karl Geweniger is a Film Student at Columbia in Chicago. Part of the "Transducer" project, this "episode" demonstrates his developing chops quite brilliantly.
Austin happens to ride very well too.
Finally Updated to Drupal 6
It’s kind of like the plumber who’s house has the leaky faucets, I never have time to work on my own projects.
Conner's Birthday
Conner had a pretty good 14th birthday. To help him capture his progress on the drums for his teachers to hear, we got him this TuneStudio from Belkin - a very cool piece of hardware. Oh, and a new iPod new record onto.
Will post some tracks later.
Conner on Jr. High Baseball Team
Last week turned-out to be a great one for Conner. After baseball camps and lots of practice, he made the Lisel Jr. High baseball team.
Congratulations!
The rest of his summer is now booked solid with daily baseball practice with first game on August 18th. Football and band will be starting up very soon too.
Little Red Sleigh

Remind you of anything?
It reminded me of my 1967 Camaro that I had in High School, only smaller, and more luxurious. And a lot safer.
It only took me a year to talk myself into getting a new car—it has been eleven years since I bought one (not counting the van earlier this year—a prtable garage). I love the new, slightly used, car and picked a great time of the year to get this kind of car (it’s a little chilly out today). A little loose on the ice but otherwise an amazingly fun little car.
